“The test of time and winds of change — if one tries to block it, they would only go tumbling down.”
—I FEEL YOU LINGER IN THE AIR 💮 Episode 11
If feelings are what remind us we are still human, not feeling anything is like being dead. Just a body that can move. No life, no heart. My morale at that moment… had gone somewhere. I wish your heart will come back soon. And I wish you to pass through all the evils, through and through.
I FEEL YOU LINGER IN THE AIR (2023)
Dir. Tee Bundit Sintanaparadee
Not a drop of liquor to interfere, drunk on love’s celestial bliss.
I’ve tried to resist this sweet intoxication.
No matter how drunk I am, sobriety comes with the morning light.
Drunk on love, my heart undone every night.หอมกลิ่นความรัก 💮 I FEEL YOU LINGER IN THE AIR
Dispair [noun] /dɪˈspeər/ - the feeling that there is no hope and that you can do nothing to improve a difficult or worrying situation
“Do you have a lighter? I do. It’s probably yours. I got you drunk and robbed you. I’m sorry. I asked Yo. I misunderstood you.”
ONLY FRIENDS (2023)
Boston wants to have casual sex without forming relationships and he is entirely vilified by the people around him because promiscuity and sex without love are viewed as the least moral thing you can do.
Top, who is also known for being promiscuous and having casual sex, is condemned entirely for cheating even before the relationship was official and when he was still being held without a label because he was supposed to have changed.
Ray, who is an addict and has casual sex but is desperately searching for love in the process, is more accepted though all of his friends look down on him for his choices and refer to him as a burden.
We can see how they all view sex without love, how they are quickest to condemn the people who sought that while people who prioritize love and relationships over sex are treated as morally superior and consider themselves better than the people who don’t.
Mew and Cheum both consider themselves better than their friends and have made it clear that they believe that their choices are the right choices and that their morals are the superior ones. It’s an ongoing theme in the show that they are magnanimous enough to stay friends with their friends (at least in their minds) but that they are always trying to push them to be ‘better’ in their minds.
But it’s Nick who sits down with Boston and tells him he’s an amazing photographer and that he wants to be loved.
But it’s Sand who actually brings Ray information on rehabs and tells him to go, makes sure he knows that someone is thinking of him and will mourn his loss.
Cheum just called Ray a burden. Mew told him he’d die before thirty.
Mew told Boston he should stop sleeping around. Cheum teased him about Nick despite his protests.
The real friends aren’t the ones who think they’re better but the ones who know that they can at least try to help.
(Top is a very different story because he wasn’t part of the friend group but Mew did the same thing with him. Not offering support, not trying to help, but simply telling him to stop and expecting that to be all he needed to do.)
i’m very picky about tv shows, but my pickiness has only an incidental relationship to whether or not a show is “good”. it needs to scratch a particular itch in my brain at the right moment. do i know what the right moment is? no. do i know what the itch is? also no. i can be relied upon to get instantly bored of 85% of tv shows and then turn the remaining 15% into a central facet of my personality for 3-5 business months and even i am incapable of predicting which one it’ll be ahead of time.
Would you like to take a walk and listen to music with me?

SEMANTIC ERROR (2022)
dir. Kim Soo Jung
gonna take a second to scream about Mafuyu and Ugetsu’s odd little friendship bc there’s something so special about Mafuyu finding the inspiration, the clarity, the words for his songs in Ugetsu’s guidance and pained confessions… and Ugetsu finding the strength to watch Akihiko walk away from him, and even some solace in Mafuyu’s song (and his quiet little “daijobu”) like there’s something both devastating and deeply comforting about it??
